Robert L. Bush
Retired
Robert L. Russell Bush began practicing law in Arlington, Texas in 1975 and founded Bush Rudnicki Shelton, P.C. in 1985. As with our firm’s current day focus, he concentrated his practice in the areas of real estate, residential and commercial construction, title insurance, and litigation relating to these areas, including residential construction liability.
Mr. Bush was actively involved in the passage of the Residential Construction Liability Act (Texas Property Code 27.001 et. seq.) in 1989 and all subsequent amendments to that statute. In 2002 and 2003, Mr. Bush served on the Building Standards Task Force of the Texas Association of Builders and was involved with the drafting and passage of HB 730, the Texas Residential Construction Commission Act.
Mr. Bush was a speaker for many seminars and conventions, including the NAHB International Builders Show, Texas Sunbelt Builders Show, State Bar of Texas, National Business Institute, Texas Institute for Continuing Legal Education and Tarrant County Bar Association. Mr. Bush was the general counsel to the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas and the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association for many years.
